Background


The Alliance Program is a strategic joint venture between Columbia University and three French Universities : the École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, and the Université Paris I Pathéon-Sorbonne. We are very pleased to remind you of our 2008-2009 Call for Joint Projects. The call for projects is open to both professors and doctoral students.


Aim


The Alliance is intended to promote and finance transatlantic projects in all disciplines.


Description


Every year the Alliance Call for Joint Projects provides seed grant money for transatlantic research projects and/or joint courses treams. The Call for projects are open to Columbia applicants from all disciplines. The projects must be presented jointly with at least one faculty member from our partners in France : the École Polytechnique, Sciences Po, or the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Maximum limit: $15,000

Deadline for applications: November 1
