Participants

All degree candidates from these schools are invited to attend. Academic regalia will be worn.

• Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS)
• School of General Studies
• Barnard College

Procession

All students must assemble at 9:40 a.m. on Friday May 14, 2010, for the procession into the Chapel.

Students meet your school marshals at the following locations:

• Columbia College: Assemble in Low Memorial Library, first floor, south corridor
• SEAS: Assemble in Low Memorial Library, first floor, west corridor
• General Studies: Assemble in Low Memorial Library, first floor, east corridor
• Barnard College: Assemble in Barnard Hall

The Chapel bells will ring at 10:15 a.m. to signal the start of the procession into St. Paul's Chapel.

Should it rain, there will be no formal procession. Instead, candidates will go directly to the Chapel and take seats as directed by an usher.

Attendance

Tickets are not required for this event.

Families and friends of degree candidates from the schools listed above are welcome to attend the Baccalaureate Service.

Seating

Because of the popularity of this service and the limited seating in the Chapel, seating is only garanteed for degree candidates. Additional seating is available under a tent on the Chapel lawn, where guests may watch a live broadcast of the service.

Disability Services

Ushers will be available to assist guests with disabilities to designated seating areas. No special tickets are required.

Sign-language interpreters will be available to guests during the service.

Please note that the chapel is not air-conditioned.
