Adam Cutchin received his Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on popular fiction, newspaper culture, and urban space in nineteenth-century France and Quebec, and he has taught courses at all levels in French and Francophone language, literature, and cinema.
