The groups that she's associated with are Women's Strike for Peace and another group called International Women's League, which is a similar type of Women's Strike for Peace but older than it. One day a letter was sent to the 76 members of the Senate who had issued a letter to the President urging that he send arms to Israel. This was last year when Ford had put a stop on arms to Israel. And the letter was sent by two people -- one name being very prominent: Ruth Gage-Colby, who is an old peace activist who has received every peace activist award from the Left imaginable. I would not go to her dinner when they had a dinner for her a couple of years ago, because she was anti-Israel, and she had issued a statement which was anti-Israel. She was a Trotskyite -- and no question a far leftist radical. And I called up at the time and said, “Now, I want to be clear about it. It is true that the people who are sponsoring this dinner for Ruth Gage-Colby has an anti Israel position. And they said, “Yes” And I said, “Then you can't use me as a sponsor,” and I was one of the few who would not go to that dinner or be associated with honoring this Madame Passionaria -- Puth Gage-Colby. That's that Spanish Communist lady in the Spanish Civil War. She's very famous.
