But the black community is being terrorized to an even greater extent than the white. We speculate in most cases, but blacks, on the other hand, are actually being assaulted every day because these pathological people don't care who they rip off.

I remember an article by Roy Wilkins. If somebody else had written it, they'd say, “Oh, my God, a racist!” Roy Wilkins said, “We” -- meaning the black community - “have to suffer because [and I think he used the figure] there are 250,000 pathological blacks who are ripping off...” I think he was talking about New York, but maybe he was talking about the country -- I just don't remember anymore: “... ripping off the city” or “the society.” And he's so right, he is so right. And the white liberal panders to that -- the Bernstein syndrome -- far more than the middle class or low-income black who's trying to make a living and lead a decent life and they're saying, “What's wrong with this society that they hold on a plateau the militants who are ripping us off and they encourage them by being lenient in jail sentences and everything else?” I am not lenient in that are, not at all.
