curing him of what ails him now, but to add to the sum total of human knowledge about human beings and their physical, emotional and mental conditions, all of which can be very reprehensible when the record is brought into court. The man can have a legitimate case of compensation. He was working. He was earning money all right. He has an accident. He's disabled. He doesn't get well as quick as the original doctor thinks he ought to. They begin to see if it can't be something that happened a long time ago. Therefore, the present disability is not the result of the accident, but of something else. I've already discussed the constitutional mental inferiors and all that gets dragged in. What business is it of the doctor whether the man went to the fourth grade or to the eighth grade in school. It can't really have any bearing on whether his osteomyelitis is cured or not cured.

I got very shocked on some of those records that I read and at the willingness and utter casualness with which the hospitals and the doctors would send them down in the custody of a messenger or anybody else.
