There was a Senate, all right, and that was what mattered. You see, the people in the Department felt so odd, not being asked to his swearing-in. I would have gone to his swearing-in if I had been asked, you know? But we were not asked. Didn't know anything about it. Then we were told that he'd been sworn in.
