Christine Low received her Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in 1991, and joined the staff at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1993. She served as the Clinical Director of the multidisciplinary Child Protection Center and the Child Protection Coordinator there for 13 years. In the fall of 2008, Ms. Low became the hospitals’ first Patient & Family Centered Care Coordinator, combining her interests in clinical and advocacy work with children and families. Ms. Low was honored with the Clinical Excellence award in 2000 and has been an active member of the child protection community in New York City serving on multiple city task forces. She has published and presented extensively and is the recipient of numerous program and training grants. She is currently on faculty at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Bank Street College of Education as well as CUSSW.
