Lucia Rivieccio, LCSW is the Director of STEPS to End Family Violence, a pioneering domestic violence program delivering innovative programming to survivors of intimate partner violence throughout New York City. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Rivieccio was the Clinical Director at STEPS and oversaw the counseling and Alternatives to Incarceration programs. With nearly 20 years in the field, she has worked extensively with children and families in direct practice, programming, and administrative capacities at New York Presbyterian, Good Shepherd Services, Manhattan Children’s Psychiatric Center, and Little Flower Children’s Services.

Ms. Rivieccio received an M.S. from Columbia University School of Social Work and an A.B. from Smith College. She completed a post-masters program in clinical hypnosis at the New York Society for Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis and maintains a private practice in Brooklyn now focused on clinical supervision.
