Jennifer I. Manuel, PhD, LMSW, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatric Social Work in the Department of Psychiatry and Division of Mental Health Services & Policy Research at Columbia University College, and a Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She has more than 10 years of clinical research experience in services and intervention research. Dr. Manuel’s primary projects focus on the implementation and evaluation of treatment services for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Manuel has had a variety of social work direct practice experiences providing clinical case management, vocational training, outreach, crisis services, and community resources development to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders and their families.
