Serotonergic Activity is Related to
Aggression/Impulsivity and Suicidal
Behavior
There is a trait deficiency of serotonin function
proportional to seriousness of suicidal acts that predicts
future suicide.
Low serotonin is proportional to seriousness of externally
directed aggression and can predict future aggression.
Low serotonin function modulates the intent and
impulsive aspects of the suicidal behavior predisposition.
