Director of Advising

While your Advisor will be able to help you with general curriculum and academic related issues, you and/or your Advisor may find that it would also be beneficial for you to work with Walter Vega, the Director of Advising on addressing specific academic concerns.

He is available to help you:
  • Think through the decisions you need to make regarding your courses and academic plans

  • Explore and problem-solve specific academic issues that require attention

  • Refer you to other members of the CUSSW faculty and staff that can provide further assistance.

Advising Counselor

For Reduced Residency and Extended students, the first year without an assigned Advisor can feel a bit challenging. Advising Counselor Zita Dixon will be able to provide short-term and long-term academic planning and help you with general curriculum and academic related issues. Additionally, all CUSSW students are welcome to reach out to Zita Dixon for any specific academic concerns.

She is available to help:
